APPOINTMENT OF LEAD INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

In compliance with Rule 3.59(c) of the JSE Listing Requirements, eMedia is pleased to
announce that, Ms Rachel Watson has been elected as Lead Independent Director of eMedia,
with immediate effect.

Rachel has been an independent non-executive director since December 2014 and is the
chairperson of the social and ethics and remuneration committees of the Company.

The Board once again expresses appreciation to Rachel for her contribution to the Company,
and look forward to working with her in her new role.
