NOTICE OF THE ACQUISITION OF A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES

In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008, as amended, and
paragraph 3.83(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, Stor-Age shareholders are advised
that Stor-Age has received notification from Coronation Asset Management (Pty) Limited that it has
acquired, on behalf of its clients, a beneficial interest in the securities of Stor-Age, such that the total
of all beneficial interests of its securities held are now 10.22% of the total number of securities in
issue.

The board of directors accepts responsibility for the information contained in this announcement, and,
to the best of their knowledge and belief, that information is true, and this announcement does not omit
anything likely to affect the importance of the information included.
