SPD Board resolves to withdraw AGM change of name resolution


Southern Palladium (ASX:SPD and JSE:SDL), 'Southern Palladium' or 'the Company' advises that the Board
has resolved to withdraw Resolution 12 from the items of business to be considered at the Company's
upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Resolution 12 sought the approval of Shareholders to change the
Company name to Southern Platinum Limited.

The resolution was proposed to reflect the diversity of the metal resources within the Company's project
portfolio and facilitate an improved understanding of the Company's strategy and value creation.

Following feedback from major shareholders, the Board has decided to withdraw the resolution and retain
the name "Southern Palladium Limited. The Company also confirmed that Southern Palladium Limited has
established a well recognised profile as a platinum group metals mining company and among its key
institutional shareholders.

Retaining the name reinforces the Company's established identity as a PGM developer advancing the
Bengwenyama Project, one of the largest undeveloped PGM assets located in South Africa's Bushveld
Complex.

Executive Chairman Roger Baxter said: "The decision to withdraw Resolution 12 means that the Company
will retain the name Southern Palladium Limited which is already well recognised among key stakeholders
and the investment community as a PGM mining company advancing the Bengwenyama PGM project in South
Africa. The decision preserves the brand equity earned by the Company since its listing in 2022."

Southern Palladium's AGM is scheduled for 28 November 2025.
