Update on changes to Senior Executive Management

In the Group and SBSA's announcement published on SENS on 8 September 2025, shareholders were
advised that the Standard Bank Group and SBSA boards of directors had appointed David Hodnett as
the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and an executive director of SBSA, subject to regulatory approval.
Shareholders are advised that approval has been received from the South African Reserve Bank's
Prudential Authority and accordingly, David Hodnett's appointment is effective 10 October 2025.
