CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Netcare is
pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Alex Maditsi as an independent non-executive
director to the Board of Netcare (“Board”) with effect from 7 June 2023.

Mr Maditsi has also been appointed to the Board Social and Ethics and Board Consistency of
Care Committees. He obtained a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Witwatersrand
and holds LLMs degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University of Law,
respectively. He is the managing director of Copper Moon Trading, with over 25 years of
professional experience across the globe, and has served as chairperson of the social and
ethics committee of Famous Brands Limited and as a member of the remuneration committee
for Murray & Roberts Holdings Limited. Furthermore, Mr Maditsi is currently the lead
independent director for African Rainbow Minerals Limited.

The Board welcomes the appointment of Mr Alex Maditsi and is confident that he will provide
valuable insight and experience to the Group.
