CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF INVESTEC BANK LIMITED

The Board of Investec Bank Limited (“IBL”) announces that Rupesh Govan has tendered his
resignation as Finance Director and as a Director of Investec Bank Limited, with effect from
19 August 2026 to pursue alternative opportunities.

The Board extends its sincere gratitude to Rupesh Govan for his significant contribution during
his tenure as Finance Director and Director of IBL and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

To ensure continuity and stability in the finance function, the Board is also pleased to announce
the appointment of Pieter Jacobus (Cobus) Grové to assume all functions of Rupesh Govan, with
immediate effect subject to any required regulatory approvals. Cobus is a highly experienced
member of the Group's leadership team and will assume responsibility for the finance function
during the transition period.

The Board has commenced a formal process to identify a permanent successor. This process will
consider both internal and external candidates and will be overseen by the Board in accordance
with the Group's established governance and succession planning frameworks.

A further announcement will be made in due course once a permanent appointment has been
made. The Board is satisfied that the interim arrangements will ensure the continued effective
leadership of the finance function and support the Group's ongoing strategic and operational
priorities.
