Further Trading statement update for the financial year ended 30 June 2024

Shareholders are referred to the trading statement update for the financial year
ended 30 June 2024, released by the Company on the Stock Exchange News Service
("SENS") on 6 September 2024 ("Initial Trading Statement").

Further to the Initial Trading Statement, the Company is satisfied that it now has
the reasonable degree of certainty required to provide the following further
guidance with regard to the financial results of the Group for the period under
review:

   -   the Group's EPS and HEPS are now only expected to decrease by between 30% and
       35% resulting in a decrease of between 101.73 cents and 94.5 cents, when
       compared to the EPS and HEPS of 145.44 cents for the Comparative Period.

In addition, on a like for like IFRS 17 related basis, shareholders are advised
that the financial results for the year ended 30 June 2024 will no longer differ by
more than 20% when compared to the restated financial results for the Comparative
Period.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the Company's auditors. The Group's condensed financial
results for the year ended 30 June 2024 are expected to be released on SENS on or
about 20 September 2024.
