THIRD QUARTER OPERATIONAL UPDATE – FY 2024


Cashbuild herewith provides its voluntary quarterly operational update for the third quarter of the 2024
financial year ("third quarter").

Revenue for the third quarter for the Group was up 3% on the third quarter of the prior financial year ("the
comparative period"). For the 312 existing stores (in existence prior to July 2022), revenue increased by
2% and the 9 new stores, contributed 1% growth. This, combined with the results reported in the first half
("half year") equates to a 3% increase in revenue year to date.

Transactions through the tills during the third quarter for the Group increased by 1% to that of the
comparative period, with existing stores remaining at similar levels and new stores contributing 1% growth.

Selling inflation was 2,4% at the end of March 2024 when compared to March 2023.

A revenue performance on a statutory basis per operating segment is reflected in the following table:

No new stores were opened during the third quarter while the Group refurbished one Cashbuild store,
resulting the total number of stores trading at the end of the third quarter remaining at 321.
