APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY

Further to the SENS announcement released on 4 June 2021 and in accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the
JSE Limited Listings Requirements and paragraph 6.39 of the Debt Listings Requirements, Barloworld
shareholders and bondholders are advised that Ms Vasta Mhlongo has been appointed as the Group
Company Secretary with effect from 11 October 2021.

Ms Mhlongo is an admitted advocate of the High Court of South Africa with a track record of over 30
years’ experience as a Company Secretary and legal professional. She holds a B. Juris and LLB degree from
the University of South Africa, a Diploma in Legislative Drafting from Vista University and a certificate in
Investment appraisal and Risk Management from Queens University in Canada.

She previously was the Group Executive: Governance for Metropolitan Holdings Company Limited and was
recently the Executive: Company Secretary for Wesizwe Platinum Limited.

The Board is satisfied that Ms Mhlongo possesses the competence and experience to fulfil the role.
