NOMINATIONS AND GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE: MEMBERSHIP CHANGE
In accordance with the JSE Limited's Listings Requirements, the Company advises shareholders that
Advocate Mahlape Sello SC, has been appointed as a member of the Nominations and Governance
Committee with immediate effect.
Adv Sello is a member of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates and has been a practicing Advocate
since 2003. She is a panelist with the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa and China-Africa Joint
Arbitration Centre. Adv Sell holds a Masters of Arts in Law from the Voronezh State University, Russia and
an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Adv Sello was appointed a member of the South African Law Reform Commission in 2007, on which she
served until December 2011, and was then reappointed in August 2013 to date. She previously served as
the chairperson of Murray & Roberts Limited having been appointed to the board in 2009 and to the chair
in 2013. She was the chairperson of the Advertising Industry Tribunal Appeal Committee of the Advertising
Standards Authority of South Africa (appointed in 2013) and has also served on the National Business
Initiative, the Joint Education Trust and was the acting chairperson of the Advisory Committee on Licensing
of Private Hospitals of the Gauteng Department of Health. More recently, Tiger Brands appointed Adv Sello
to their board in 2019. Adv Sello was appointed to the Life Healthcare board of directors on 3 July 2017.
