CHANGES IN EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised of the
following changes in executive responsibilities at Cashbuild:

Anton Hattingh is an Executive Director of Cashbuild and Managing Director of P and L Hardware (Pty)
Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary within Cashbuild). The Board has determined that Mr Hattingh should
focus solely on the growth and expansion of the P and L Hardware business. As a result, Mr Hattingh
will relinquish his role as Executive Director of Cashbuild with immediate effect. As Managing Director
of P and L Hardware, Mr Hattingh will continue to form part of the Cashbuild Group Executive and will
continue to report to the Group Chief Executive.

Furthermore, Etienne Prowse will step down as a member of the Social and Ethics Committee and be
replaced by Willem van Aswegen with effect from 1 January 2021. Mr van Aswegen is an Executive
Director of Cashbuild and the Commercial and Marketing Director who is also responsible for the
Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
