NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN DATATEC SHARES

In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No 71
of 2008 ("the Act"), regulation 121(2)(b) of the Companies
Regulations, 2011 and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that, on 16
September 2020, Datatec received formal notification that the
clients of Sanlam Investment Management (Pty) Ltd("Sanlam") have,
in aggregate, acquired of an interest in the ordinary shares of
the Company, such that the total interest in the ordinary shares
of the Company held by Sanlam now amounts to 15.03% of the total
issued ordinary shares of the Company.

Datatec confirms that, as required in terms of section 122(3)(a)
of the Act, the Company has filed the required notices with the
Takeover Regulation Panel and to the best of its knowledge and
belief, the information supplied by Sanlam is complete and
consistent.
