                  INTU PROPERTIES PLC (IN ADMINISTRATION)

    CANCELLATION OF LISTING AND TRADING OF INTU ORDINARY SHARES ON THE
                        JOHANNESBURG STOCK EXCHANGE

On 2 July 2020, intu properties plc (in administration) (“intu”) announced
that, following application by intu:

-   the Financial Conduct Authority had cancelled the listing of intu
    ordinary shares on the premium segment of the Official List and the
    London Stock Exchange (“LSE”) had cancelled the trading of intu ordinary
    shares on the main market for listed securities maintained by the LSE,
    in each case with effect from 8:00 a.m. (London time) on 2 July 2020;
    and

-   intu had applied to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (“JSE”) for the
    cancellation of the listing and trading of intu ordinary shares on the
    Main Board of the JSE (the “JSE Delisting”).

intu announces that, on 29 July 2020, the JSE approved the JSE Delisting
pursuant to paragraphs 1.12 and 1.13 of the JSE Listing Requirements.

The purpose of this announcement is to confirm the salient dates and times
in respect of which the JSE Delisting will be effected, which are as follows:

Last day to trade for the JSE Delisting*           Tuesday, 18 August 2020
Record date for the JSE Delisting                   Friday, 21 August 2020
Removal of intu from the JSE                        Monday, 24 August 2020

*intu’s shares were suspended from trading on the JSE on 26 June 2020.
