CHANGE IN COMPANY SECRETARY

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of
directors of Ascendis Health (“the Board”) hereby announces the appointment of Mpeo Nkuna as the
Company Secretary, with effect from 1 July 2020.

Mpeo replaces Andy Sims who will be retiring with effect from 30 June 2020.

After qualifying with a Bachelor of Commerce and Law (B.Com LLB) from Rhodes University, and skilled
in Legal Compliance, Contract Law and Legal Writing, Mpeo gained work experience at Cliffe Dekker
Hofmeyr Inc and Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa. In 2016 she joined Ascendis Health and is
currently employed as the Group Legal Associate.

The Board would like to thank Andy for his valued contribution to the Ascendis Health group during his
tenure at Ascendis Health and wishes Mpeo well in her new role.
