FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS
– Basic earnings per share 147,90 cents, up 44,2% (2018: 102,58 cents)
– Headline earnings per share 139,32 cents, up 33,8% (2018: 104,15 cents)
– Dividend per share 30 cents, up 36,4% (2018: 22 cents)
– Net asset value per share 1 494,21 cents, up 10,8% (2018: 1 348,54 cents)
– Revenue R5,85 billion, up 3,1% (2018: R5,67 billion)
– Operating profit R217,53 million, up 33,4% (2018: R163,08 million)

DIVIDEND DECLARATION
Notice is hereby given that a final dividend of 30 cents per ordinary share for the year
ended 30 June 2019 is declared, payable to shareholders recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on the record date appearing below. This dividend is
declared out of income reserves. The company’s income tax reference number is 9550081716
and the company has 70 000 000 ordinary shares in issue and ranking for dividend at the
date of this declaration. The South African dividend tax rate is 20% resulting in a net
dividend of 24,00 cents per share to shareholders who are not tax exempt.
The salient dates applicable to the final dividend are as follows:
Last day of trade cum dividend Tuesday, 8 October 2019
First day to trade ex dividend Wednesday, 9 October 2019
Record date Friday, 11 October 2019
Payment date Monday, 14 October 2019
No share certificates may be dematerialised or rematerialised between Wednesday, 9
October 2019 and Friday, 11 October 2019, both days inclusive.
Where applicable, payment in respect of certificated shareholders will be transferred
electronically to shareholders’ bank accounts on the payment date. In the absence of
specific mandates, payment cheques will be posted to certificated shareholders at their
risk on the payment date. Shareholders who have dematerialised their shares will have
their accounts at their Central Securities Depository Participant or broker credited on
the payment date.
