TRADING STATEMENT AND CORRECTION OF COMPARATIVE INFORMATION IN SHORT-FORM
ANNOUNCEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that
the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from the financial results for
the previous corresponding period or a profit forecast previously provided to the market in relation to such
period.
Shareholders are accordingly advised that for the six months ended 31 August 2025, the headline earnings
was 29.07% higher at 26.15 cents per share compared to 20.26 cents per share in the prior comparative
period.
Afine's unaudited results for the six months ended 31 August 2025 were published on SENS on 19 November
2025. The prior period comparative was incorrectly stated at 22.04 cents (being the fully diluted earnings
per share), which should have read 20.26 cents per share. The full interim results announcement contained
the correct comparative number for headline earnings per share of 20.26 cents.
