AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND DIVIDEND DECLARATION FOR THE YEAR
ENDED 28 FEBRUARY 2026 AND AVAILABILITY OF THE INTEGRATED ANNUAL
REPORT 



1.   SALIENT FEATURES

     Operating profit before tax increased by 25% to R22.179 billion, from R17.740 billion in
     the prior year.

     Headline earnings per share increased by 23% to 14 606 cents per share, from
     11 912 cents per share in the prior year.

     Earnings per share increased by 22% to 14 590 cents per share, from 11 911 cents per
     share in the prior year.

     Total dividend per ordinary share increased by 23% to 7 980 cents per share, from
     6 510 cents per share in the prior year.

     The net asset value (total equity) increased by 17% to R59.513 billion, from
     R50.914 billion in the prior year.

2.   DIVIDEND DECLARATION

     Capitec's ordinary dividend policy is to pay out 55% of headline earnings. A final gross
     dividend of 5 360 cents per share (2025: 4 425 cents per share) was declared on
     22 April 2026, bringing the total dividend for the 2026 financial year to 7 980 cents per
     share (2025: 6 510 cents per share). There are 116 099 843 ordinary shares in issue.

     The final dividend meets the definition of a dividend in terms of the Income Tax Act, Act
     58 of 1962. The dividend amount, net of South African dividend tax of 20%, is 4 288 cents
     per share. The distribution is made from income reserves. Capitec's tax reference number
     is 9405376840.

     Last day to trade cum dividend - Tuesday, 12 May 2026
     Trading ex-dividend commences - Wednesday, 13 May 2026
     Record date - Friday, 15 May 2026
     Payment date - Monday, 18 May 2026

     Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised from Wednesday,
     13 May 2026 to Friday, 15 May 2026, both days inclusive.
