RESIGNATION OF AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In compliance with paragraph 6.71 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Metair shareholders
(“Shareholders”) are advised that Ms Nondumiso (Ndumi) Ketwa, an independent non-executive
director of Metair, has tendered her resignation from the board of directors of the Company (“Board”),
with effect from 31 December 2026. Consequently, Ms Ketwa will also cease to serve as a member and
chairperson of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Investment Committee with effect from the
same date.

Ms Ketwa joined the Company in June 2023 and has decided to step down due to increased
professional commitments. She will remain available until the effective date of her resignation to
facilitate an orderly handover of her responsibilities, including matters relating to the Audit Committee.

The Board has initiated a process to identify a suitable successor to Ms Ketwa as chairperson of the
Audit Committee and to appoint an additional independent non-executive director. An announcement
will be published on SENS once these appointments have been finalised.

The Board wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Ms Ketwa for her invaluable contribution to
Metair during her tenure and wishes her every success in her future endeavours.
