CHANGES TO THE ROLE OF A DIRECTOR AND COMPOSITION OF BOARD COMMITTEES

Shareholders are referred to the SENS Announcement released on 27 September 2019 regarding changes to the
board of directors of Wescoal.

Further to the aforementioned announcement, shareholders are advised of the following changes to the role of
a director and the composition of board committees with effect from 16 October 2019 as follows:

•    Nonzukiso “Zukie” Siyotula will replace Ms Teresita van Gaalen as the Lead Independent Director. In
     addition, the Company is in the process of recruiting for additional Independent Non-Executive Directors
     and will endeavour to conclude this process and further appointment to the Audit, Risk and Compliance
     committee in as little time as possible.

•    The revised composition of the board committees is as follows:
