Issue of the Investec Bank (Mauritius) Limited Annual Financial Statements
The Annual Financial Statements of Investec Bank (Mauritius) Limited the year ended 31 March 2025 are available for
inspection at the registered office of the Issuer, as well as on Investec's website at
https://www.investec.com/en_za/welcome-to-investec/about-us/investor-relations/financial-information/investec-bank-
mauritius-limited.html.
The Issuer wishes to advise that the audit report relating to these Annual Financial Statements is unqualified.
Investec advises of the following restatements:
Cash flow statement restatements
Repurchase agreements and reverse repurchase agreements amounting to USD nil and USD 205 million respectively as at 31
March 2024 (2023: USD 55.1 million and USD 250.0 million respectively) were wrongly classified under cash flow from financing
activities instead of cash flow from operating activities on the cash flow statements in prior years.
Similarly, preference dividend paid amounting to USD 17.2 million (2023: USD 8.4 million) were classified under cash flow from
operating activities instead of cash flow from financing activities on the cash flow statements in prior years.
In line with IAS 8 - Accounting policies, changes in accounting estimates and errors, the prior year figures have been restated to
reflect the proper classification on the cash flow statements.
These changes do not have an impact on the consolidated and separate Income Statements, consolidated and separate
Statements of Other Comprehensive income, consolidated and separate Balance Sheets and consolidated and separate
Statement of Changes in Equity of Investec Bank (Mauritius) Limited.
The comparative consolidated and separate Cash Flow Statements in the 2024 and 2023 annual financial statements have been
restated for the above. There was no impact on net profit after tax.
