BOARD CHANGES
Datatec Limited, the international Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
company, announces the following changes to the Board and its Committees.
1) APPOINTMENT OF SALEH MAYET
Mr Saleh Mayet will be appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company
and member of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee ("ARCC") and Social and Ethics
Committee with effect from 1 January 2026.
Saleh is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a seasoned financial professional with over 30
years' experience gained in the Anglo American Group in South Africa on a wide range of
corporate activities. He was the Head of Finance and served on the boards of Anglo
American South Africa Limited and its strategic subsidiaries and trusts as well as on various
senior management committees tasked with strategy, driving value initiatives, governance
and engagement with key stakeholders. After a distinguished career, Saleh retired from
Anglo American in March 2019.
Saleh currently serves as an independent non-executive director of Motus Holdings Limited,
Astral Foods Limited and Mpact Limited. He previously served as a non-executive director
on the boards of Distribution and Warehouse Network Limited and Exxaro Resources
Limited.

2) RETIREMENT OF JOHNSON NJEKE
As announced on SENS on 24 June 2025, Mr Johnson Njeke ("Mr Njeke") has given
notice to the Company that he will retire from the Board on 31 December 2025.
Mr Njeke has been Chair of the ARCC since 2018 and sits on the Nominations Committee
and Social and Ethics Committee.
3) COMMITTEE CHANGES
Following the retirement of Mr Njeke, committee roles will change as follows on 1 January
2026:
– Ms Deepa Sita will assume the role of Chair of the ARCC;
– Mr Saleh Mayet will join the ARCC and the Social and Ethics Committee as noted
above;
– Mr Colin Jones will join the Nominations Committee.
