NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS - SIGNIFICANT TRADE IN COMPANY’S SECURITIES

Choppies hereby announces to shareholders, in line with Appendix 5C of the Botswana Stock Exchange
Equity Listings Requirements, that there has been a significant trade in the Company’s securities (over 5%
of total securities in issue).

Shareholders are notified that through the recent rights offer, one shareholder holds more than 5% of total
securities in issue. This is detailed in the table below.
