Information for former depositary receipt (‘DR’) holders and current ‘A’ shareholders – withholding tax reclaims

Compagnie Financière Richemont SA
(Incorporated in Switzerland)
Share code: CFR
ISIN: CH0210483332

INFORMATION FOR FORMER DEPOSITARY RECEIPT ('DR') HOLDERS AND CURRENT
'A' SHAREHOLDERS – WITHHOLDING TAX RECLAIMS

We would like to bring your attention to the SENS announcement of
22 September 2023. In the release we explained that the withholding
tax reclaim programme that Richemont operated with Computershare had
been cancelled by the Swiss Federal Tax Administration ('SFTA') with
effect from the 2022 dividend year. As explained in the previous
announcements Richemont is working with the SFTA to clear long
outstanding claims going back to the 2018 dividend and to date have
refunded certain non-contentious claims. Richemont continues to work
with the SFTA and its advisors to resolve this, but certain claimants
may be rejected and will have to resolve this in future directly
with the SFTA. The rejected claimants will be informed once the SFTA
has completed their detailed review of the dividend claims in respect
of the 2018 to 2021 dividends.

Following the cancellation of Richemont's previous arrangement with
the SFTA and as mentioned in the last SENS release, Computershare,
and its co-service providers ("associates") in Switzerland have
approached the SFTA to continue the reclaim programme on a similar
basis. Claimants are free to either: -

  1) have Computershare claim on their behalf;
  2) have an alternative reclaim provider carry out their reclaim;
     or
  3) carry out the process themselves.

To assist former DR holders and existing 'A' shareholders, Richemont
has asked Computershare to provide the 2022 and 2023 withholding tax
reclaim forms to all holders. These will be provided by email to
those holders on Computershare's records but would ask that if you
have not received these documents in the next two weeks to please
contact:

Computershare Investor Services (Pty) Ltd
Private Bag X9000
2132 SAXONWOLD
Telephone: 0861 100 935

OR email: wht.richemont@computershare.co.za

who will be happy to provide these to you.

Please note that claimants have three years to submit their claim
to the SFTA, meaning that claims with regard to the 2022 dividend
must be submitted to the SFTA prior to December 31st 2025.

Computershare and its associate's involvement in the withholding tax
reclaim process is to assist former Richemont DR holders and 'A'
shareholders only. They do not accept any responsibility for any
delay or failure by SARS or the SFTA to accept claims for a refund
and/or for any failure, for whatever reason, by the SFTA to pay the
refund and/or any failure by claimants to receive the payment. In
the event of any refusal by SARS or the SFTA to accept the claims
or pay the refunds, holders may take the matter up with the relevant
tax authorities personally as and if appropriate.

Richemont A shares are listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, Richemont's
primary listing, and on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Richemont's
secondary listing. Richemont A shares are included in the Swiss
Market Index ('SMI') of leading stocks.
