CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In terms of paragraph 3.59 (b) of the Listing Requirements
of the JSE Limited, Barloworld shareholders are advised
that Advocate Dumisa Ntsebeza SC will retire as a director
and independent chairman of the board of directors of
Barloworld (the "Board") immediately after the next Annual
General Meeting ("AGM") to be held on 12 February 2020.
Advocate Ntsebeza was appointed to the Board in May 1999
and was appointed as chairman of the Board in June 2007.
The Board wishes to extend their gratitude to Advocate
Ntsebeza SC for his valuable and outstanding contribution
over the years. His wisdom and counsel will be sorely
missed as the Company embarks on the next phase of its
journey.
Further to this, the Board is pleased to announce that Mrs
Neo Dongwana, who joined the Board in May 2012, will
succeed Advocate Ntsebeza SC as the Chairman of the Board
with effect from 13 February 2020. At present Mrs Dongwana
chairs the remuneration committee and is a member of the
audit committee, nominations committee and the risk &
sustainability committee.
