ASTRAL FOODS PRE-CLOSE BRIEFING SESSION


Shareholders are advised that the Company will be hosting a pre-close briefing session relating to the
trading statement to be released on 21 September 2023, as well as the Company’s business activities for
the financial year ending 30 September 2023. This will cover the significant impact of load shedding
experienced throughout the year, capital expenditure to mitigate the impact of service delivery disruptions
(power and water), and the severe impact that the outbreak of the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI)
has had on the poultry industry.

This pre-close briefing will be held via an audio webinar from 09:00 to 11:00 on Thursday, 21 September
2023.
