Notice of availability of Consolidated Interim Financial Statements
RAND WATER
Rand Water is established in terms of the Water Services Act, 1997 (the "Act"). Through the Department of
Water and Sanitation and duly represented by the Minister of Water and Sanitation, the Government of the
Republic of South Africa is the sole shareholder of Rand Water. In terms of the Act, Rand Water's primary
activity is the provision of bulk water supply services (potable bulk water and sanitation services) within the
predetermined service area.

Notice of availability of Condensed Interim Financial Statements
Rand Water hereby notifies its debt investors that it has publicly released its reviewed Condensed Interim
Financial Statements for the six months ended 31 December 2023 ("Condensed Interim Financial Statements").
The Condensed Interim Financial Statements are available for viewing or downloading on the Rand Water
website using the below link:

Restatements were made to the prior six months ended 31 December 2022 as set out in the Condensed Interim
Financial Statements as a result of retrospective adjustments in the six-month reporting period. Rand Water
performed a compliance review to International Financial Reporting Standards, where improvements were
identified through this process. The details of the restatements are outlined in note 28 (Prior Period Error) of the
Condensed Interim Financial Statements.
