Update regarding appointment of a debt officer

UPDATE REGARDING APPOINTMENT OF A DEBT OFFICER

Bondholders are referred to the SENS announcement published by the City on Wednesday,
10 January 2024, wherein bondholders were advised that Mr Mabandla Sibisi had been appointed as
the interim debt officer of the City and as Group Head: Treasury until 1 April 2024.

Further to the above, bondholders are hereby advised that Mr Sibisi, in his capacity as the Group Head:
Treasury, will continue to serve as interim debt officer of the City until 30 June 2024.

The process to identify a permanent debt officer is well underway and an announcement will be
published once a permanent debt officer is appointed.
