TRADING STATEMENT


In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing Requirements of JSE Limited, a listed company is
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the financial results
for the financial period to be reported on next will differ by at least 20% from those of the prior
comparative period.

Accordingly, the Group expects to report basic loss per share for the year ending 31 August 2021 of
between 3.64 and 3.94 cents per share compared to basic earnings per share of 1.54 cents per share
reported on for the year ended 31 August 2020.

The Group also expects to report headline loss per share for the year ended 31 August 2021 of
between 3.14 and 3.64 cents per share compared to headline earnings per share of 2.50 cents per
share reported on for the year ended 31 August 2020.

PFB is expecting to release its Reviewed Provisional Condensed Consolidated Results for the year
ended 31 August 2021 on or about 26 November 2021.
