APPOINTMENT OF THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that Laren
Farquharson will be stepping down as the Acting Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and as an executive
director of the Hulamin board of directors (the “Board”) with effect from 31 March 2021.

Shareholders are further advised that Meganathan Gounder (Mark) has been appointed to the Board as
an executive director and as the CFO, with effect from 1 April 2021.

Mark is an experienced CA (SA) finance professional with over 25 years’ experience. Mark has held various
senior finance roles within the Illovo Sugar Group which have involved extensive operational experience
across Africa, as well as exposure to Europe, Asia and North America.

The Board would like to thank Laren for his contribution as Acting CFO and welcomes Mark in his new role
as the CFO of the Company.
