TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDING 31 AUGUST 2020
Shareholders are advised that Balwin expects headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) and
earnings per share (“EPS”) to be at least 20% lower than the respective HEPS and EPS reported
in the prior corresponding six-month period.
The decrease in earnings is largely attributable to the effects of COVID-19 and the national
economic lockdown from 26 March 2020 to 30 May 2020.
With the re-commencement of construction under lockdown level 3, Balwin has implemented
several measures for the remainder of the financial year that will increase its construction rate
to match continued strong demand for its product.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by Balwin’s auditors. The Company will provide a further trading and business
update during the second week of September 2020.
