OF THE BROAD-BASED BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT ANNUAL COMPLIANCE REPORT
Shareholders are advised that Newpark’s integrated report, incorporating the audited financial results for the
year ended 29 February 2020 (on which the company’s auditors expressed an unmodified audit opinion), was
dispatched to shareholders today, Monday, 15 June 2020, and contains no changes from the summarised
audited consolidated financial statements for the year ended 29 February 2020, which were released on SENS
on 20 May 2020. The integrated report is also available on the company’s website
http://www.newpark.co.za/pdf/annual_reports/newparkir2020.pdf.
The integrated report contains a notice of annual general meeting of shareholders of Newpark, which will be
held at Unit 9A, 1st Floor, 3 Melrose Boulevard, Melrose Arch, on Tuesday, 14 July 2020 at 12:00.
The last day to trade in order to be eligible to participate in and vote at the annual general meeting is Tuesday,
30 June 2020 and the record date for voting purposes is Friday, 3 July 2020.
Shareholders are hereby notified that in accordance with the JSE Listings Requirements, Newpark’s annual
compliance report in terms of section 13G(2) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of
2003, read with the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Amendment Act 46 of 2003, has been published
and is available on the company’s website http://www.newpark.co.za/pdf/annual_reports/newparkir2020.pdf.
