BOARD AND COMMITTEE COMPOSITION CHANGES
The Board is pleased to announce that Mr David James Park has been
appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company, with
immediate effect. Mr Park is a qualified actuary, currently involved in
a number of business ventures and providing independent consulting
services, including educational services to the Actuarial Society of
South Africa. In his previous role as a director/partner at Deloitte,
he was a statutory actuary to a number of life insurance companies and
key advisor to several insurance companies. Mr Park obtained his BSc
(Actuarial Science) from the University of Witwatersrand and is a fellow
of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and of the Institute and
Faculty of Actuaries.
Furthermore, the Board wishes to advise MMH shareholders of the
following changes to Board Committees, with immediate effect:
Mr Sello Moloko and Ms Lisa Chiume have been appointed as members of
the Remuneration Committee.
Ms Kgaugelo Legoabe-Kgomari has been appointed as a member of the
Investments Committee as well as a member of the Fair Practices
Committee, replacing Ms Lisa Chiume, who has stepped down as a member
of the Fair Practices Committee.
Mr David James Park has been appointed as a member of the Social, Ethics
and Transformation Committee
