TRADING STATEMENT - SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2019

Pending publication of the Company’s interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2019
(“current period”), expected to occur on or about 30 September 2019, shareholders are advised that
based on information currently available, the Company expects:

-   basic loss/earnings per share for the current period to be between a loss of 15 cents and earnings
    of 10 cents compared to the reported basic earnings per share of 2 478 cents for the six months
    ended 30 June 2018 (“prior period”); and
-   headline loss per share for the current period to be between 5 and 25 cents compared to the
    reported headline loss per share of 724 cents for the prior period.

The basic earnings per share for the prior period included the once off gain of 3 260 cents on the
deconsolidation of Textainer Group Holdings Limited.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed nor reported
on by Trencor’s independent auditors.
