        PASSING OF AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – LONDEKA ANELISIWE SHEZI

In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Board of Directors
(the Board) sadly announces the untimely passing of Ms Londeka Anelisiwe Shezi.

Londeka was a key member to RH Bophelo and her valuable contributions to the following portfolio’s
will be dearly missed:

    .   Independent Non-Executive Director;
    .   Chair for the Audit and Risk committee; and
    .   Member of the Remuneration and Nomination committee.

Brief profile of Londeka:

A qualified Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from the University of
Witwatersrand.

Londeka was the co-founder and director of Agile Capital, a private equity company, where she
represented on the boards of The Innovation Group (Pty) Limited, Provantage (Pty) Limited, ProVest
Group, Aquatico, Goldrush, Spilltech, BBE Group and Feedem.

Londeka was a junior transactor in the Leverage and Acquisitions team at Standard Bank’s Corporate and
Investment Bank. She obtained invaluable experience in debt advisory before moving into private equity
as a dealmaker at Zungu Investments, a diversified investment holding company in South Africa.

Londeka completed her articles when serving in the banking division at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. During
this time, she was exposed to the South African Reserve Bank, ABSA, Rand Merchant Bank, Stanlib and
RMB Corvest.

The RH Bophelo Board will always remember Londeka as a young, enthusiastic, ambitious and a well-liked
person who saw opportunity in challenges and was very committed to making a difference.

The directors extend their condolences to Londeka’s family, friends and colleagues.
