ACCESS TO DOCUMENTS AND INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THE BUSINESS
RESCUE OF GROUP FIVE AND GROUP FIVE CONSTRUCTION
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 12 March 2019 in which
Group Five notified shareholders that the board of directors of Group Five and Group Five
Construction Proprietary Limited ("G5 Construction") had resolved to place each of these
companies into business rescue ("Business Rescue") in accordance with Chapter 6 of the
Companies Act No 71 of 2008 (as amended).
The Company and G5 Construction have now received confirmation from the Companies and
Intellectual Property Commission of the registration of the resolutions placing them into
Business Rescue and of the interim appointment of David Lake and Peter van den Steen of
Metis Corporate Advisory as business rescue practitioners.
Shareholders are advised that the Company has established dedicated sections of its website
to the Business Rescue of each of the Company and G5 Construction. All documents which
the Company and G5 Construction are statutorily required to send to creditors and other
affected persons (including the board resolutions, sworn statements and Forms CoR 123.1
(Notice of Commencement of Business Rescue) and CoR 123.2 (Notice of Appointment of
Business Rescue Practitioners)) will be uploaded and available for viewing and download on
these sections. Shareholders are therefore recommended to visit these sections regularly to
find updates regarding the processes.
