THE CITY OF CAPE TOWN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF INTEGRATED ANNUAL REPORT
CCT hereby notifies its noteholders that it has publicly released its Integrated Annual Report for the
year ended 30 June 2025 ("Annual Report"), incorporating the consolidated annual financial
statements ("AFS"), and that the auditor's report ("Auditor's Report") prepared by the Auditor-General
of South Africa ("AGSA") is unqualified.
With regard to the emphasis of matter paragraphs, in terms of the audit report, the following were listed:
Material Impairments:
Per note 9 of the AFS, the municipality provided impairment of receivables from exchange transactions
of R4,73 billion (2023-24: R5,48 billion) and non-exchange transactions of R3,72 billion (2023-24: R4,00
billion).
Material Losses:
Per note 41.3.2.3 of the AFS, material electricity losses of R1,06 billion (2023-24: R915.54 million) was
incurred, which represents 11,23% (2023-24: 11,00%) of total electricity purchased.
Subsequent Events:
Per note 40 of the AFS, the municipality obtained a significant amount of external funding. The detail of
the transaction is further described in the disclosure note. The matter was treated as a non-adjusting
subsequent event.
The Integrated Annual Report, containing the consolidated annual financial statements, is available on
