UPDATE ON THE GROUP CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER'S TENURE

Noteholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 1 October 2025 regarding notification of the retirement of Mr Calib Cassim from his role as Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) in October 2026.

Noteholders are hereby advised that Mr Cassim's tenure as GCFO and Executive Director of Eskom will end effective 31 October 2026. To facilitate an orderly transition, Mr Cassim will continue to serve in an acting GCFO capacity until the appointment of his successor becomes effective.

Eskom will provide an update on the appointment process for a new GCFO as soon as possible.
