NOTIFICATION OF THE VOTING RESULTS IN RESPECT OF THE REQUEST FOR WRITTEN CONSENT OFNOTEHOLDERS RELATING TO THE PROPOSED
AMENDMENT AND RESTATEMENT OF THE APPLICABLEPRICING SUPPLEMENTS PERTAINING TO THE RN2027, RN2030, RN2032 AND RN2035 NOTES
Any capitalised terms not defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed thereto in the section of the Republic of
South Africa’s Domestic Multi-Term Note Programme dated 9 September 2019, as updated, supplemented and
amended from time to time (“Programme Memorandum”) headed “Terms and Conditions of the Notes”.
Holders of Floating Rate Notes under series RN2027, RN2030, RN2032 and RN2035 (collectively, the
“Instruments”) issued under the Programme Memorandum (“Noteholders”) are referred to the notice of request
for written consent published on SENS on 29 July 2026 (“Notice” or “Consent Request”), relating to the proposed
amendment and restatement of the Applicable Pricing Supplements in respect of the Instruments in order to facilitate
the replacement of the Johannesburg Interbank Average Rate (JIBAR) with the compounded Daily South African
Rand Overnight Index Average (Compounded ZARONIA) as the applicable Reference Rate (the “Benchmark
Transition”).
The following Extraordinary Written Resolution was proposed in respect of each Instrument for approval by the
relevant Noteholders, in order to implement the Benchmark Transition:
• Extraordinary Written Resolution – Approve the amendment and restatement of the Applicable Pricing
Supplement.
The National Treasury confirms that the voting results from the Consent Request were as follows:

* The percentages of written consents in favour of, against and abstaining from the Extraordinary Written Resolution
are expressed as a percentage of the total value of the relevant Instruments outstanding as at the relevant record
date, in accordance with the requirements applicable to an extraordinary written resolution.
Following the voting results set out above, the Extraordinary Written Resolution has been approved by the requisite
majority of Noteholders in respect of RN2030 and RN2032.
The Extraordinary Written Resolution in respect of each of RN2027 and RN2035 has not been approved, as the
requisite majority of Noteholder votes was not obtained. The Issuer will accordingly re-initiate the consent process
in respect of RN2027 and RN2035 for purposes of implementing the Benchmark Process in respect thereof. Further
information in this regard will be provided in due course.
