APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

York shareholders ("Shareholders") are referred to the announcement published on SENS on
20 March 2026, wherein Shareholders were advised of the resignation of Mr Gabriël Stoltz as the
chief executive officer ("CEO") and an executive director of the Company, with effect from
31 March 2026.

Shareholders are hereby advised, in accordance with paragraph 6.71(c) of the JSE Listings
Requirements and pursuant to a dispensation granted by the JSE Limited, that the board of directors
of York has resolved to appoint Mr Schalk Barnard, the Company's chief financial officer, in a dual and
secondary role as interim CEO of York with effect from 1 April 2026, until such time as a permanent
CEO is appointed.

The process of identifying and appointing a permanent CEO is ongoing, and Shareholders will be
advised of further developments in due course.
