DISCLOSURE OF ACQUISITION AND DISPOSAL OF BENEFICIAL INTERESTS IN SECURITIES


In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act (Act 71 of 2008), as amended ("Companies Act")
and paragraph 6.54 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised that Sebata has
received notifications in terms of section 122(1) of the Companies Act that:

-    Laird Group Proprietary Limited ("Laird") has acquired a beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of Sebata
     such that its entire beneficial interest amounts to 82.24% of the total number of ordinary shares in issue;
     and

-    Kamberg Investment Holdings Proprietary Limited ("Kamberg") has disposed of its entire beneficial
     interest in the ordinary shares of Sebata such that it has no remaining interest in the ordinary shares in
     issue.

The requisite notices in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act have been filed with the Takeover
Regulation Panel.

Further, as required in terms of section 122(3A) of the Companies Act, Sebata will file the required notices
with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission.

The board of directors of Sebata accepts responsibility for the information contained in this announcement as
it relates to the Company and confirms that, to the best of its knowledge and belief, such information relating
to the Company is true, and that this announcement does not omit anything that is likely to affect the importance
of such information.
