FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are referred to the Further Cautionary Announcement released on
SENS on 12 October 2026, which advised that ArcelorMittal South Africa, ArcelorMittal
Group and the Industrial Development Corporation Limited remain at an advanced
stage of finalising an agreement regarding a potential transaction. Proceeding with the
definitive agreements is subject to the fulfilment of certain pre-conditions and the
receipt of various approvals.

Despite recent press reports regarding a potential transaction, certain pre-conditions,
including ministerial approval, remain outstanding. Accordingly, no binding offer is
currently in place and there is no certainty that a transaction will be concluded or the
timing thereof. The Company is therefore not yet in a position to provide further details.

Shareholders are accordingly advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in
the Company’s securities until a further announcement is made.

The board of directors of ArcelorMittal South Africa collectively and individually accepts
responsibility for the information contained in this further cautionary announcement
insofar as it relates to the Company.
