Eskom concludes three-year wage agreement following Central Bargaining Forum process


Eskom advises noteholders that the 2026 wage negotiation cycle in the Central Bargaining Forum
(CBF) has been concluded following the signing of a collective wage agreement by the organised
labour representatives.


Key terms of the agreement include an annual salary increase of 7% for bargaining unit employees.
The agreement commences on 1 July 2026 and is effective for three years.


The three-year framework supports labour certainty and reduces volatility associated with annual
bargaining. It also enables improved cost predictability and operational stability in support of Eskom's
turnaround strategy and recent system performance gains.
