Holders of listed SBEN23 Equity Index Linked Notes ("the Notes")

Limited (acting through its Corporate and Investment Banking
Division), issued under its Structured Note Programme, has been
amended as follows:
The Initial Index Level as set out in paragraph 45(d) and in
paragraph 86.4 (i)(c)(1) (Technical amendment) of the Applicable
Pricing Supplement:
By the deletion of "Initial Index Level: 68,446.23,
determined on 31 May 2023, being the strike date for the
Initial Index Level." and the replacement thereof with:
"Initial Index Level: 66,887.58, determined on 31 May 2023,
being the strike date for the Initial Index Level."
This amendment is effective on the Issue Date (as defined in the
Applicable Pricing) and has been made in accordance with
Condition 18 of The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited's
Structured Note Programme dated 26 January 2021.
Save for the amendment set out above, the
remainder of the terms of the Applicable Pricing Supplement
remain unchanged.
