 FTSE/JSE notes the announcement by Montauk Holdings Ltd (FTSE/JSE Small Cap Index Constituent,
 MNK, ZAE000197455) regarding the distribution and corporate restructure into Montauk Renewables Inc.

 In the event, shareholders will receive 1 Montauk Renewables Inc share for every Montauk Holdings Ltd
 share held. Montauk Renewables Inc will obtain a primary listing on the NASDAQ and a secondary inward
 listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), with Montauk Holdings Ltd subsequently being
 delisted from the JSE.

 Based on the current timetable, FTSE/JSE anticipates the following treatment:

 Monday 18 January 2021

 Last day of dealing in Montauk Holdings Ltd shares.

 Tuesday 19 January 2021 (from market open)

 On the Ex Date and following the subsequent suspension of trading, Montauk Holdings Ltd will be held
 at its last traded price on Monday 18 January 2021.

 Monday 25 January 2021 (from market open)

 Montauk Renewables Inc is expected to commence trading on the Main Board of the Johannesburg Stock
 Exchange.

 Montauk Holdings Ltd (MNK, ZAE000197455) will be renamed to Montauk Renewables Inc.

 Please note: Any updates regarding the secondary inward listing of Montauk Renewables Inc will be
 reflected at the next quarterly review.
