Mr Jones is currently the group business development and OEM sales executive and has been involved with the Company for over 30 years, holding a number of senior executive roles in the Company. He holds a BTech (Business Management) and a National Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. As a result, Mr Avishkar Goordeen ceased to be the alternate executive director to the CEO. In view of Mr Goordeen's ongoing instrumental role on the group executive committee, he has been appointed by the Board as an alternate executive director to Mrs Karen van Haght, the finance director, with effect from 4 September 2025. Mr Goordeen holds a BCompt Honours degree and is a Chartered Accountant and is currently the group commercial and IT systems executive. He has over 18 years' experience at Bell. The reason for the changes to the Board is to align the alternate director positions of these executives with their areas of expertise and responsibility.
