Hammerson plc ("Hammerson") is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle McGrath
as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 9 March 2026.
Michelle's appointment further strengthens the Board's experience across property and capital
markets. Most recently, Michelle was Executive Director at Shaftesbury Capital plc,
responsible for the group's property portfolio, including investment, asset management,
leasing and marketing. Prior to its merger with Shaftesbury PLC in March 2023, Michelle was
a Director of Capital & Counties Properties PLC, responsible for its property portfolio.
Michelle is an experienced corporate financier, with a background across corporate broking,
equity capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions, having advised companies within the
UK listed real estate sector at UBS Investment Bank.
Upon appointment, Michelle will become a member of the Remuneration and Nomination &
Governance Committees.
The Board also announces that Robert Noel will step down as a member of the Remuneration
Committee with effect from 9 March 2026.
Notes
Michelle was a Director of Capital & Counties Properties PLC from February 2020 to March
2023. There is no other information to be disclosed for the purposes of Listing Rule 6.4.8.13R
in relation to Michelle's appointment as a Director of Hammerson.
