FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE DECLARATION OF A SPECIAL DIVIDEND

Rainbow shareholders are referred to the group financial results announcement and declaration of
ordinary and special dividends for the year ended 28 June 2026 released on the Stock Exchange
News Service on 28 August 2026 (“Results Announcement”). Rainbow declared a final gross cash
dividend of 45.0 cents per share out of income reserves for the year ended 28 June 2026. Rainbow
further declared a special gross cash dividend of 75.0 cents per share out of income reserves for the
year ended 28 June 2026, bringing the total distribution for the year to 135.0 cents per share.

It was stated in the Results Announcement that the special dividend was subject to South African
Reserve Bank approval. Rainbow shareholders are advised that this approval has been obtained and
accordingly, the special dividend is now unconditional. The salient dates in respect of the special
dividend remain unchanged as announced in the Results Announcement.

All other information relating to the special dividend, including the tax implications, remains
unchanged from that disclosed in the Results Announcement.
