APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Wits Gold is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Patrick
Randall Cooke as an independent non-executive director to the
board of directors of the Company with effect from 6 December
2013.

Mr Cooke is an experienced financial executive having operated
as a financial director and chief financial officer to
companies, some of which have been listed on various stock
exchanges. He has wide experience in a range of industries,
more specifically mining and mineral exploration. He presently
serves as a non-executive director on the board of Atlatsa
Resources Corporation.

Commenting on the appointment of Mr Cooke, the Chairman of
Wits Gold, Adam Fleming said, “We are delighted that Patrick
has agreed to serve on our Board. He brings a wealth of
financial and management experience to the Company.”
