Dealings in securities by an associate of an executive director


Trustco Shareholders (“Shareholders”) are referred to the SENS Announcements dated 8 October
2018, 20 February 2019, 3 March 2019 and 27 June 2019.


Trustco and Dr van Rooyen aim to increase the free float, improve liquidity and aid in the price
discovery of Trustco shares as well as meet various index liquidity requirements.


Shareholders are advised that a sale of 5 000 000 Trustco shares (“Sale Shares”), held by an associate
of Dr van Rooyen, was concluded in line with the above rationale, at an average price of ZAR10.00 per
share.


The Sale Shares represent 0.7% of Dr van Rooyen’ s total shareholding. The sale will not lead to a
change of control in Trustco with Dr van Rooyen remaining the majority and controlling shareholder
in Trustco.


In compliance with paragraph 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements (‘Listings
Requirements”), the Company discloses the following dealings in securities by an associate of an
