Late announcement - Final Redemption SBRN20
Holders of the listed SBRN20 Equity Index Linked Notes ("the
Notes") which are redeeming on Friday, 04 August 2025 are
informed that the level of the index was determined and
calculated on Monday, 28 July 2025 as 4119.12
Following this determination and calculation holders of the
Notes are advised as follows:
Valuation Date: Monday, 28 July 2025
Valuation Rate Announcement: Tuesday, 29 July 2025
Valuation Time: The time the Index Level
is published on the
Valuation Date
Last Date to Trade: Tuesday, 29 July 2025
Suspension Date: Tuesday, 29 July 2025
Record Date: Friday, 01 August 2025
Maturity Date (Delivery/Payment): Monday, 04 August 2025
De-Listing Date: Tuesday, 05 August 2025
1. The holders are hereby notified that due to Valuation Date
being on Monday, 28 July 2025, SBRN20 is suspended from today,
Tuesday 29 July 2025.
2. All holders elected to instruct Standard Bank to sell the
ETFs on behalf of the holders of the Notes and pay the
redemption amount of such sale of the ETFs to the holder of
the Notes, will receive on 04 August 2025 an amount of 663,026
South African cents per the Note equivalent to the value of
the relevant ETFs held by them on the Record Date.
3. After payment of the sale proceeds of the ETFs on 04 August
2025, the Notes (SBRN20) will be de-listed from the JSE on 05
August 2025.
